There is nothing quite like the bond between grandparents and their grandchildren. The love that imbues this bond and the memories it stirs is a wellspring of positive emotion deep in the human heart for young and old alike. In his new children's book, titled Heidi's Aussie Adventures, author and seasoned bush poet Brian Scott taps into this wellspring to present some of the stories he shared with his own beloved granddaughter.

The New York Drama Critics' Circle met on May 3, 2013, at the offices of Time Out New York magazine, to determine the winners of its 78th annual awards. The results were as follows:

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, written by Christopher Durang, today won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award (NYDCC) for Best Play of the 2012-2013 season. Matilda received the award for Best Musical. The selections were made at the 78th annual voting meeting of the organization today at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan.

LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner and Tony Award nominee Tom Hanks, officially recouped its $3.6 million capitalization costs as of the week ending 4/28/13, eight weeks after beginning performances. The world premiere production of Nora Ephron's final work, which this week was nominated for six Tony Awards including Best Play, has also broken a record three times as the highest grossing play in Broadway history.

The Siti Company, an ensemble based theatre company created by Anne Bogart and Tadashi Suzuki, is famous for its combination of Viewpoints and Suzuki, two very different acting trainings that focus on movement and gesture, and concentration and strength, respectively. This weekend, their production of Trojan Women, which utilized both acting techniques, came to ArtsEmerson, and audiences poured in after a very exhausting week here in the city.

LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, will extend its run through Wednesday, July 3 only. Lucky Guy, which opened April 1 to critical acclaim at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street), is the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe.
