New dates have been announced for the hit Long Island based storytelling show, (MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS. Dates includes performances on March 25th, May 20th and June 17th at The Performing Arts Studio in Port Jefferson.

(mostly) TRUE THINGS Storytelling Show Returns For First Performance of 2017 in Newly-Renovated Port Jefferson Theater

(MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS, Long Island's first local storytelling show returns to the newly-renovated Performing Arts Studio, 224 E. Main St. in Port Jefferson, NY 11777 on Sunday January 29, 2017 at 4 pm. This show was created by Long Island-based writer/performer Jude Treder-Wolff who has been featured three times on the ground-breaking storytelling podcast RISK! and has performed at storytelling shows across Long Island and in Manhattan including The PIT and The Moth. Wareham is thrilled to announce the third show in the Laguna Playhouse 2016-2017 season, CHAPATTI, written by Christian O'Reilly and directed by David Ellenstein, based on the direction of Judith Ivey. "I just fell in love with this play and the beautiful and quirky love story at its center.  I think our audiences are about to fall in love with it too," says Wareham.  CHAPATTI will begin previews on Wednesday, January 11; will open on Sunday, January 15 at 5:30pm and will run through Sunday, January 29, 2016 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

The producers of INDECENT - Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's newest work, one of the most acclaimed plays of 2016 when it debuted in New York Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre following productions at Yale Repertory Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse - have announced that the production will begin performances on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 W 48th St New York, NY), on April 4, prior to its official opening night on April 18.

GK Arts Center Presents Gelsey Kirkland Ballet's THE NUTCRACKER

Elsevier Updates Reference Work, 'Encyclopedia of Applied Plant Sciences'

CAMBRIDGE, MA - Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced the publication of the second edition of its major reference work, Encyclopedia of Applied Plant Sciences, edited by Brian Thomas, Denis Murphy and Brian Murray. The updated volume presents complete, authoritative information on more than 25 separate areas of plant science, covering both theory and applications. The Encyclopedia will be part of Elsevier's forthcoming Reference Module in Life Sciences. Elsevier also announced two additional new plant science books.
