Michael Capasso, General Director of the New York City Opera has announced that Rachel Blaustein, Brian James Myer, Mary Phillips, Stephen Powell, and Victor Starsky will be featured in the cast of its upcoming world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon’s THE GARDEN OF THE FINZI-CONTINIS, a co-production with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.

New York Festival of Song, led by Artistic Director Steven Blier, is presenting the 2021 NYFOS Next Festival with two concerts held at the Ann Goodman Recital Hall at Kaufman Music Center.

A new first. In its decade-long history, New York Festival of Song's NYFOS Next series has never devoted an entire program to the work of one lyricist. On April 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM EDT, NYFOS will break that tradition in a virtual concert celebrating the work of renowned Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award-winning lyricist/librettist Mark Campbell.

Shane will be joined by the West End cast staring Noah Thomas as Jamie New, Melissa Jacques as his Mum, Margaret, Sejal Keshwala as Ray, Hiba Elchikhe as Pritti Pasha and Gillian Ford as Miss Hedge.

Shane Richie, fresh from 2020's 'I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!', will return to play  Hugo / Loco Chanelle in Everybody's Talking About Jamie from 5 January 2021.

Strawdog Theatre Company's Board of Directors today announced Artistic Director Leda Hoffmann will step down effective August 15, 2020.
