Frog Boyz Head to Union Hall in Brooklyn

MARIE AND BRUCE Comes to JACK Brooklyn

Today, Marie decides to leave her husband: 'Let me tell you something. I find my husband so God damned irritating that I'm planning to leave him. And that's a fact.' But in Wallace Shawn's 1978 American masterpiece, facts are slippery things. In this radical re-imagining at JACK, two multi-disciplinary artists play the combative titular couple and head up the design team. Joined by an ensemble of some of Brooklyn's sharpest comedic voices, Gordon Landenberger (Bruce) and trans actress Theda Hammel (Marie) double as the set and sound designers, respectively, for this hilarious and timely new production.

HPV: Her Point of View Network Comes to Brooklyn Comedy Collective

HPV: Her Point of View Network has announced that it will have its inaugural show at Brooklyn Comedy Collective, directed by Amanda Xeller?, on May 5th, 2018 at 11 PM. The show is produced by D. Schoolhouse Arts Center Announces The Cast Of NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP

The Schoolhouse Arts Center is proud to announce its cast for the spring 2018 production of "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep". This show is written and directed by Jerry Walker and produced by Danny Gay. The play is licensed through Leicester Bay Theatricals. This play took first place in the Northern Maine One Act Play Festival in 1997.

Comedian, storyteller and hoop-dancer Mimi Fischer (The Chris Gethard Show, Broad City) is 64 years young and all about comedy, improv and hoop dance. She announces her first solo show, A Late Bloomer, with SoloCom, the Peoples Improv Theater's annual solo show festival. The show's title is a nod to her starting her career in comedy at an age that most think should relegate her to knitting but she doesn't do that.
