On the heals of its hit musical production Titanic, Griffin Theatre Company continues its 2014-15 season with Lanford Wilson's acclaimed drama BALM IN GILEAD directed by ensemble member Jonathan Berry and featuring an ensemble cast of 27 actors and musicians. At their monthly session tonight, December 2, at 7pm, Ad Hoc will be reading Brendan Behan's autobiographical play Borstal Boys. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Northern Ireland's preeminent theatre company, Belfast's Lyric Theatre, presents the U.S. premiere of a new play by Janet Behan, "Brendan at the Chelsea," about the controversial playwright Brendan Behan, in the turbulent last weeks of his short life, when he lived in New York at the Chelsea Hotel. Portraying Behan is the noted actor Adrian Dunbar, who also directs the five-character drama. This is Dunbar's professional NY stage debut, and it is also the Lyric Theatre's debut production in New York.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that Johnny O'Callaghan's WHO'S YOUR DADDY? must close this Sunday, May 26. The production had previously been set to close earlier this month.
