The network announced today that Georgeown University sociology professor and author Michael Ericc Dyson will replace Senator Al Franken as a guest on the episode. Yesterday, a spokesperson for Franken told the Huffington Post that the senator would no longer appear, following backlash over Mmaher's use of the 'N' word on last Friday's show.

The two argued over Cornel's previous statement that between Clinton and Trump, one was a disaster and the other was a catastrophe.
