Riverside Theatre's Simply Amazing Season concludes with the effervescent musical comedy Grease on the Stark Stage. The Broadway Boys will make their debut concert at 54 Below this Saturday, January 12th with an afternoon concert highlighting new material with new singers in a new space. Klena (DOGFIGHT, CARRIE) and Halpin (RENT, GLORY DAYS) will join Broadway Boys creator Jesse Nager (MOTOWN, SCANDALOUS), Mike Backes (JERSEY BOYS, ROCK OF AGES), Julius Thomas III (PORGY AND BESS, MOTOWN), and Brad Greer (ALTAR BOYZ) for this event. Justin Paul (composer: A CHRISTMAS STORY, DOGFIGHT) will be on hand to music direct and lead The Broadway Boys band.

Over the past two summers, White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) has served as an exemplary stage for two extraordinary theater productions: Edges and Songs for A New World (w/ a 30-piece orchestra). These productions were orchestrated and executed by the New Musical Theater Series (NMTS) and were both extremely well-received. Now, the talented individuals behind this pair of unforgettable theatrical events have reloaded their creative cannons and are readying their third adventure for yet another summer production. PARTY WORTH CRASHING follows the lives of nine twenty-somethings as they go through the various life obstacles and emotional highs and lows that come along with finding happiness, self-acceptance and love.

The 27th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were handed out last night, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center, in a ceremony that once again benefited the Actors Fund and honored the best of Off Broadway. On Monday, March 12, 2012, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, a monthly concert for emerging musical theatre writers (now in its 5th year), at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The March 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features composer/lyricists Joey Contreras and Stephanie Johnstone.

The Broadway Boys once again hosted a holiday party and concert with the 6th Annual BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS: A Benefit for Toys for Tots, yesterday, December 19th at Symphony Space in Thalia Theater. This year's concert/toy drive, "Deck The Halls", featured Lillias White (Fela! The Life), Nick Adams (Pricilla...Desert, Chicago), Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Footloose), Andrea Burns (In The Heights), Kacie Shiek (Hair), Janet Dacal (Wonderland), Carly Rose Sonenclar (Les Miserables, Wonderland), Suzanne Fiore (Ragtime), composer Jonathan Reid Gealt and more! The School of Theatre Arts at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia will open the Laurie Beechman Cabaret Theatre at the Arts Bank Theatre with ' Soiree Parisienne,' a cabaret revue that will run from September 18 - 21, 2008.
