Jane Lynch has won the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Lynch plays 'Sue Sylvester' on the Fox hit show.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Javier Bardem may be the latest star to make a guest appearance on GLEE. According to a report in the Ausiello Files, Bardem will play a Spanish rock star who befriends 'Artie' (played by Kevin McHale). Bardem allegedly pitched the idea to GLEE creator Ryan Murphy while the two were in production for Eat, Pray, Love.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

Piano man Billy Joel has revealed to Access Hollywood that he has offered GLEE use of his hall of fame music catalog. Stage vets Neil Patrick Harris and Matthew Morrison performed Joel's 'Piano Man' last season on an episode in which Harris guest starred. Harris earend an Emmy nomination for his appearance.

With the second season's September 21 premiere quickly approaching, Fox is kicking GLEE advertising into high gear with its new slushee-based ad campaign. The new poster, which is featured below, uses an icon from season one to empower the New Directions members.

Rumors surrounding the possibility of GLEE representation on Broadway may in fact be true, if GLEE creator Ryan Murphy is to be understood correctly. At the Eat Pray Love premiere in New York City this Week Murphy revealed to the New York Daily News of a GLEE stage adaptation: it is 'definitely' happening. 'I'm auditioning people now.' On upcoming guest directors, Murphy reveals: 'Adam Shankman is doing one, I think that's great. I think he's doing Episode 8 or 9 of the first 10.' As for future GLEE-helmers, he says, 'I'm just now getting calls from big movie directors who love the show. I can't say who they are obviously. I have talked to Baz Luhrmann about it. I love him and he loves the show, but his schedule is so crazy.'
