Springfield, Vermont is calling all Steampunk aficionados and those curious to participate in the first ever Springfield Steampunk Festival. Presented by the Steampunk Society of Vermont and the Hartness House Inn, the festival is slated for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 11, 12 and 13 in Springfield, VT. Hollywood's Blank Theatre has announced a one night only staged reading of The Book of Liz by David Sedaris and Amy Sedaris, directed by Darin Anthony. The benefit event, which will raise funds for The Blank's Young Playwrights Festival (currently completing its 23rd year) is set for Monday, July 20 at 8pm at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre.
New York & Company and actress and style icon Eva Mendes announced that they have extended their agreement to collaborate on the successful Eva Mendes Collection through 2019, which first launched in September 2013. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal with New York & Company was brokered by Creative Artist Agency (CAA) on behalf of its client Eva Mendes.
