Town Hall's 'Broadway By The Year' Season Kicks of with Musicals of 1921, 2/14

The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) New York's landmark concert venue presents the 11th season of its acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14th at 8PM. Kicking off the 90th Anniversary of The Town Hall, the Broadway By The Year® season will begin with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS of 1921, celebrating the great music that was performed the same year the historic building came to be.

Burgess, Cooper, Gemignani Join Transport Groups' BOYS NIGHT OUT 1/10

Transport Group, the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, has announced that Titus Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys & Dolls), Chuck Cooper (Tony winner for The Life), and Alexander Gemignani (Sweeney Todd, Assassins) have joined the cast of the one-night-only event Boys Night Out: An Evening With…Michael John LaChiusa, which will take place on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 7pm at the Mainstage Theater at Playwrights Horizons, 416 West 42nd Street.

An intimate evening of talk and song celebrating the male roles from the musical songbook of 5-time Tony nominated composer, Michael John LaChiusa, whose works include Little Fish, Marie Christine, See What I Wanna See, Hello Again, and The Wild Party, will be presented at a one-night-only event on Monday, January 10 at 7 PM at Playwrights Horizon.

Aiken, Cumming et al. to Perform at BROADWAY BACKWARDS 6

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (the Center) announced today that BROADWAY BACKWARDS 6, the only Broadway event custom-made for the gay and lesbian community, its friends and families, will feature 'American Idol' runner-up Clay Aiken (Spamalot) and Tony winners Alan Cumming (Cabaret and CBS's 'The Good Wife') and Denis O'Hare (Take Me Out and HBO's 'True Blood').

Michael Cumpsty (one of the recent stars of the hit film 'Eat, Pray, Love') joins the cast of Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw presentation of HEARTBREAK HOUSE, a light comedy about the residents and guests of an English country house crammed full of revelations, romance, and shocking discoveries, just before WWI changes everything -- on Monday, December 20 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produces and directs.

Scott Alan Hosts Release Party For 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' 12/3

On December 3rd, Scott Alan will be joined by some of the performers featured on 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' for a concert at Barnes and Nobles at Lincoln Triangle. Those scheduled to appear include Christiane Noll, Darius de Haas, Nikki Renee Daniels, Zak Resnick and Christopher Sieber, along with musical director Jesse Vargas. The 6pm concert will also include a CD signing immediately following the performance. The Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Triangle is located at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street in Manhattan.
