Yankee Stadium has it's 'Legends Seats' and Monuments prominently displayed in the 'House That Ruth Built'.  Then the current team takes the field and future legends start to play ball.  In the Friars Club show biz past and present are always in the house.  Their photos are on the wall and names are engraved on the chairs in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room.  Then as so often happens an 'insiders' great show is produced for the members and those legends current and future entertain their fellow Friars.  So it happened last night as the Friars Club honored Bobby Short, the legendary cabaret singer/pianist who was best known for his three decade plus music residency at Cafe Carlyle in New York City.  The music of Bobby Short was brought to life by some current Cafe Carlye and Bemelmans Bar stars in a spectacular evening produced and hosted by Friar Jeff Leibowitz and Co-Produced by Friar Will Friedwald.

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb makes her Cafe Carlyle debut, June 6-17.

Cafe Carlyle will welcome back Broadway legend Chita Rivera, May 9-20. Last year's sold out Cafe Carlyle debut received raves reviews. An accomplished and versatile actress/singer/dancer, Chita Rivera has won two Tony Awards as Best Leading Actress in a Musical and has received eight additional Tony nominations for an exceptional 10 Tony nominations. At the Carlyle, Chita will be accompanied by her music director Michael Croiter and trio.

Acclaimed singer Antonia Bennett makes her Cafe Carlyle debut, May 23 - June 3.

John Pizzarelli returns to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show celebrating iconic singer-songwriter Johnny Mercer, April 25 - May 6. The New York Times recently described John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica Molaskey as "the supreme nightclub act of our time." Specifically, Jazz Weekly recently raved about John Pizzarelli's Johnny Mercer program: "A gig like this oozes with style, class and fun, with Pizzarelli being one of the best ambassadors for the Great American Songbook. One of his best."At the Cafe, he'll perform Johnny's most recognizable hits as well as lesser-known gems such as "Jamboree Jones" and "Slue Foot."

After critically lauded performances in New York, London and Paris, award-winning performer Eric Yves Garcia (Margaret Whiting Award; Bistro Award for Singing Instrumentalist) announces his return engagement of 'Keepers of The Keys', today, March 7 (7:00pm) at Feinstein's / 54 Below.

Acclaimed singer Jackie Evancho makes her Cafe Carlyle debut, April 11-22. Jackie will be the youngest artist to ever perform at Cafe Carlyle.

As part of the Women's History Month Celebration, OPERA EXPOSURES, the not-for-profit opera company founded by Edna Greenwich in 2004, will present The Elizabeth Taylor Greenfield Story, a Memorial Concert in honor of America's premier female vocalist in opera and contemporary music in the 19th century, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 3:00 PM at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery, 131 East 10th Street at Second Avenue.

Award-winning actor/singer John O'Hurley makes his Cafe Carlyle debut, March 28 - April 8.

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the Cafe Carlyle's spring 2017 season, which features the venue debuts of actor/singer John O'Hurley, classical crossover star Jackie Evancho, and singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb; as well as the return of audience favorite John Pizzarelli.

Having won critical praise for his previous residencies, Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young returns to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show titled Here For You, beginning tonight, February 14, through February 25.

Following three previous sold-out engagements, Feinstein's at the Nikko welcomes back Grammy Award-winning vocalist, Steve Tyrell, for four performances only: Thursday, March 30 (8 p.m.); Friday, March 31 (8 p.m.); Saturday, April 1 (7 p.m.) and Sunday, April 2 (7 p.m.).

One of contemporary music's most seminal singer/songwriters, Suzanne Vega, makes her Cafe Carlyle debut, March 14 - 25. Ms. Vega recently released a new album paying homage to renowned Southern novelist Carson McCullers.

The nightclub singer Marta Sanders follows her memorable Cabaret Convention appearance (she closed the Stephen Sondheim tribute with a soul-bearing 'I'm Still Here') with an encore of her latest show, 'Follow Me,' in February. The four-week major engagement performs at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, today February 2; Saturday February 11; Today February 16, and Saturday February 25, all at 7pm.
