The new musical GOTTA DANCE will take its first steps with an all-star cast.

Full casting has been announced for The Cape Playhouse's upcoming production of The Drowsy Chaperone, starring JoAnne Worley, that will play the Massachusetts venue June 30 - July 11, 2015

Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Will Ferrell, ELF features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). The production will feature direction by Sam Scalamoni and choreography by Connor Gallagher.

Producers Dori Berinstein and Bill Damaschke announced today that Gotta Dance, a new musical based on the critically acclaimed 2008 documentary of the same name, will have its pre-Broadway World Premiere this year at Broadway In Chicago's Bank of America Theatre.

Good God, that was brutal! One episode in and I'm already exhausted. Blood and fire covering a painting of a happy home, well, isn't that just the best way to start the second half of season five? Losing a major character in episode one is probably a pretty clear indicator that this season is not going to be a lighthearted one.
