The Young Vic today announces an extension, due to popular demand, of Stephen Adly Guirgis' Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train. The critically-acclaimed production, directed by Kate Hewitt, now runs until Saturday 6 April, and will include a Relaxed Performance on Wednesday 3 April.

Many of us remember Bob Marley's introduction of reggae to the world, and his great success with this style of music. Since his passing in 1981, several of his children have had their own successes, including Cedella, his oldest child, who wrote a children's book , which has now become a stage musical, Bob Marley's Three Little Birds and which will be presented by Synchronicity Theatre in Atlanta from Feb. 1-24.

The musical, based on Cedella's children's book, Three Little Birds, includes the songs "Three Little Birds," "Jamming," "Roots Rock Reggae," "I Shot the Sheriff," "Is This Love," and others, and is recommended for children ages three and up. Germaul Barnes, a NY-based contemporary dance artist with a global approach to movement, will appear as a panelist and master educator at the International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference & Festival in Dayton, OH, January 22-27, 2019. Barnes is a member of the IABD Next Generation Committee and will teach three master classes and serve on a panel with the Coalition for Diasporan Scholars Moving (CDSM) during the conference.
