42nd Street Moon's Artistic Director, Greg MacKellan, today announced casting for the first production of the 2010-11 Season: Broadway's greatest musical farce, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM.

Celebration Theatre is thrilled to present the second show in its 2010-2011 Season of Shows, the Tony Award-winning play, TAKE ME OUT, written by Richard Greenberg and directed by Michael Matthews and produced for Celebration Theatre by Nicholas Caprio, Michael C. Kricfalusi, Todd Milliner and Christopher Sepulveda. TAKE ME OUT will preview on Wednesday, September 22, and Thursday, September 23 at 8pm and will open on Friday, September 24 at 8pm and run through Sunday, October 31 at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

Arden Theatre Company concludes its 2009/10 season with the Pultizer Prize-winning musical Sunday in the Park with George by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, directed by Terrence J. Nolen, the Arden's producing artistic director. Sunday in the Park marks the twelfth Sondheim production in the company's history and the first time the Arden will use Sondheim's complete original orchestrations, led by Barrymore Award-winning musical director Eric Ebbenga.

Declaring 'We all believe in something...don't we?,' The Drilling Company has set a short play project on the subject. The troupe (www.drillingcompany.org), known as a home for award-winning writers, has saved the theater where they made their home for the last ten years and in September 2009, assumed the lease on the venue formerly known as the 78th Street Theatre Lab, citing their faith in the space. The production will end its run on May 23rd.

On Thursday, November 12, at East Lynne Theater Company's only Cape May fundraising event in 2009, Robert J. LeMaire III (aka Bobby), was named the third recipient of the Historic Jackson Street Neighborhood Association Scholarship Fund (HJSNA) in the Name of Bob and Toni Green. This fund was started in the fall of 2006 with a generous $5,000.00 donation from HJSNA, in honor of the Greens, who first owned The Puffin on Jackson Street. Bob Green was at one time President of ELTC's Board, and Toni came up with the idea for 'Tales of the Victorians.' They currently live in Kentucky.
