The Laurie Beechman Theatre announce that Tony Award-winner Donna McKechnie, one of Broadway's most beloved and esteemed performers, will present the New York premiere of her critically-acclaimed solo show, My Musical Comedy Life, at the midtown venue for one performance only, Wednesday, July 28th at 8pm.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County proudly announced the special engagement of BABALU, a loving tribute celebrating the musical legacy of Desi Arnaz. Created, directed, and hosted by Lucie Arnaz, BABALU's engagement at the Adrienne Arsht Center will feature multiple Tony Award-nominee and Miami native Raúl Esparza, Broadway's Tony-nominated diva of dance Valarie Pettiford and in a rare, special guest appearance, Desi Arnaz, Jr. playing percussion on his father's classic hits.

Broadway performer Cady Huffman, who won the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her portrayal of Ulla in the original Broadway production of The Producers, will be starring as Dolly Levi in the family classic, Hello, Dolly! sponsored by Citizens Bank, which is scheduled to open on June 23 at Theatre By The Sea.

The original 1955 Broadway production won the Tony Award for Best Musical, and Bob Fosse won his first of many Tonys for Best Choreography. The recent 2006 Broadway revival starred Harry Connick Jr. and won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival with Kathleen Marshall also winning for Best Choreography. CRT's production will be the first time this theatre has presented the musical, which will also be the first professional production in Central New York in years. Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro's The Last Romance. Old Globe Associate Artist and television icon Marion Ross will star with her longtime partner Paul Michael in the new romantic comedy which was written for them by DiPietro.

The decadent world of 1930s Berlin comes to life in Kelrik's production of CABARET, the Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece that embodies the issues and events Europe was facing at that time. The story, based loosely on the reminiscences of Christopher Isherwood in Berlin Stories and John Van Druten's play I Am a Camera, centers on an American writer, Clifford Bradshaw (Garrett Marshall), and Sally Bowles (Heather Malcolm), an English singer and dancer at the Kit Kat Klub. Bradshaw and Bowles fall in love and quickly become caught up in Germany's pre-war social and political turmoil.

On this week's So You Think You Can Dance, top 10 finalist Alex Wong and all-star partner Lauren Gottlieb endeavored to venture out of their comfort zone and tackle a Broadway-style number by Tyce Diorio. In the rehearsal footage beforehand, Diorio said that it's 'Broadway inspired by the Fosse style but with [his] take on it.' Wong, primarily a ballet dancer, however, did not hit a high note with the SYTYCD judges, who suggested lacked the looseness and heat to truly represent Foose. On the episode, judge Nigel Lythgoe suggested Wong watch KISS ME, KATE and THE LITTLE PRINCE for inspiration.
