Emeril Lagasse will host an A-list roster of celebrity friends at weekly celebrations on his new ION Television series, 'The Emeril Lagasse Show,' launching Sunday, April 18, at 8:00 PM, ET with a housewarming party-themed premiere featuring special guest Martha Stewart. The upcoming season of the network's first original series will also feature a diverse line-up of guests, including football hero Eli Manning, chef/author/restauranteur Mario Batali, rock musician Sammy Hagar, actor Steve Schirripa ('Sopranos'), actress Jennie Garth ('90210'), and everybody's favorite red furry friend, Elmo, among many others.
This week, former AMERICAN IDOL finalists from all around the country, including Amy Adams, Bo Bice, Didi Benami, Lacey Brown, Kevin Covais, Bucky Covington, Diana DeGarmo, Julia DeMato, Melinda Doolittle, Chikezie, Gina Glocksen, Danny Gokey, Mikalah Gordon, RJ Helton, David Hernandez, Mandisa, Michael Johns, LaKisha Jones, Megan Joy, Blake Lewis, Kimberley Locke, LaToya London, Melissa McGhee, Jorge Nunez, Amanda Overmyer, Brandon Rogers, Phil Stacey, Ruben Studdard, Elliott Yamin and Ace Young, will volunteer to help support Feeding America's local food banks and IDOL GIVES BACK, which airs Wednesday, April 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Singers Adam Lambert and Kris Allen made it all the way to the season finale of 'American Idol' at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles last night, Wednesday May 20, and after a two-hour show where former 'Idol' winners Carrie Underwood and David Cook, as well as Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban graced the stage, Kris Allen was named the winner! Over 100 million votes were cast to decide the victor! Allen's softer style and gentle vocals won the day.
