KENDRA SCOTT announced the openings of two new San Antonio jewelry store locations in La Cantera and The Quarry.

Macy's, Inc. announced a $50,000 cash contribution to the international relief fund of the American Red Cross for relief assistance in the Philippines and other nearby nations affected by Typhoon Haiyan. The grant will also assist the American Red Cross' efforts to help Americans locate and connect with their families overseas who are affected by the storm.

Macy's, Inc. announced an upcoming change in leadership at New York-based Bloomingdale's. After an illustrious 22-year career as Bloomingdale's chairman and chief executive officer, Michael Gould will be succeeded in that role by Tony Spring, currently Bloomingdale's president and chief operating officer, effective Feb. 1, 2014.

On Wednesday, October 30th, the blockbuster musical, WICKED, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on Broadway, a milestone achieved by only ten other Broadway productions in history. The creative team and many of the musical's previous cast members will celebrate WICKED's first decade with a special performance, followed by a company party, on October 30th at 7:00pm. Macy's, Inc. said it plans to hire seasonal associates for approximately 83,000 positions at its Macy's and Bloomingdale's stores, call centers, distribution centers and online fulfillment centers nationwide for the 2013 holiday season. The company's 2013 seasonal hiring plan compares to approximately 80,000 in 2012 (an increase of about 3.8 percent).
