GODSMACK and Shinedown Announce Additional Co-Headlining Tour Dates into the Fall

As GODSMACK and SHINEDOWN gear up for their co-headlining summer amphitheater tour, the two multi-platinum rock groups have revealed an additional run of dates keeping them on the road together into the fall. Newly added dates on the hard-hitting trek--featuring support from Asking Alexandria--include Greensboro, Fort Wayne, Billings, Spokane, Boise, and Portland. In addition to previously announced tour stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, New York, Chicago and Atlanta, plus many more, the tour will reach over 40 cities in total. Both bands are touring in support of their new chart-topping albums: Godsmack's WHEN LEGENDS RISE and Shinedown's ATTENTION ATTENTION, out now. Tickets for the newly announced fall tour dates are available to the general public starting this Friday, June 8 at 10:00 AM local time.

Fremont Street Experience Adds Chart-Topping Talent to Downtown Rocks Free Summer Concert Series Lineup

Downtown Rocks, the amplified concert series on Fremont Street Experience adds GRAMMY Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge, as well as Jefferson Starship, Eddie Money, Lit and Filter to its dynamic roster of chart-topping talent from around the world. In addition to the free live entertainment, concert goers can turn it up “One Louder” with the new Rockstar VIP Package, which includes signed memorabilia, access to the VIP area, band meet-and-greets during select shows and a pass to experience SlotZilla and Fear the Walking Dead Survival at Fremont Street Experience.

Kristi Stanley Releases Debut Album 'Heart Wide Open'

Kristi Stanley is part of a world-famous family long associated with traditional bluegrass music, but her debut album, “Heart Wide Open” (Union House Records), has an unmistakable country flavor. That should come as no surprise, considering the artist's upbringing in Pikeville, Kentucky, an area rich in both musical genres, and just a few miles from Clinch Mountain, Virginia, where the Stanley Brothers and her future husband, Ralph Stanley II, resided.

Jason Crabb Inducted into Kentucky Music Hall of Fame

Jason Crabb, GRAMMY® winner and 21-time GMA Dove Award winning artist, was inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame on May 11, 2018 during an induction ceremony in Mount Vernon, KY at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Crabb was inducted alongside David 'Stringbean' Akeman, Dale Ann Bradley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jackie DeShannon and Bobby Lewis.

Amas Musical Theatre Lab To Present Staged Readings Of PLAY IT BY HEART with Crystal Bowersox, Carmen Cusack, Linda Hart

Amas Musical Theatre(Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present further staged readings of Play It by Heart, a new musical, with music by David Spangler, Jerry Taylorand Marty Dodson, lyrics byDavid Spangler, Jerry Taylor,R.T. Robinson, and Marty Dodson, and book byWilly Holtzman. Directed by Daniel Goldsteinwith music direction by Andrew Wilder, the readings (by invitation only) will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 1pm and 5pm at Opry City Stage (48th/49th& Broadway).

B.B. King Blues Club & Grill Announces Final Run of Shows in Times Square Location

After 18 years of hosting some of music and entertainment's most revered names, B.B. King Blues Club & Grill has announced its final run of shows in its current Times Square location (237 W 42nd St). Due to escalating rent, the historic venue and supper club is forced to close its doors with a final performance on April 29, 2018. B.B. King Blues Club is in the process of selecting a new location in Manhattan to relocate the venue.
