Superstars take the stage as Tim McGraw hosts 'CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL: COUNTRY'S NIGHT TO ROCK,' Wednesday, September 1, on the ABC television network.

High-voltage superstar performances are a hallmark of 'CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock,' so it makes sense that one of the most electrifying entertainers in the format, Tim McGraw, would be tapped to host when the special airs WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Voting begins today for the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, country music's only fan-voted award show, with the announcement of this year's first round finalists. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland lead the pack in first round nominations with four each, followed by Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band, who each garnered three.

This morning, Laura Bell Bundy and CMT's Evan Farmer announced the nominees for the 2010 CMT Awards, and Broadway-turned-country star got a very welcomed surprise - she herself earned a nomination for Best Breakthrough Video of the Year for 'Giddy on Up,' the first single off of her newest album, Achin' and Shakin.' The CMT Awards will be Broadcast live on June 9 on Country Music Television at 8 p.m. ET. Kid Rock hosts this year's ceremony.
