The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.

Nominations for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced tonight by The Recording Academy. Among the nominees for Best Musical Theatre Album were KINKY BOOTS, MATILDA: THE MUSICAL and MOTOWN THE MUSICAL!

Comedy Central announces Best Bets for week of December 8

According to Deadline, the network will film the acclaimed actor's one-man Broadway show on Jan. 3 and 4, which will premiere later in 2014.

After beginning his career in 1993, longtime theatrical press agent MICHAEL HARTMAN, founder and CEO of one of the largest and most successful theatrical publicity firms in New York, will say goodbye to Broadway and close THE HARTMAN GROUP on Sunday, January 5, 2014, remaining fully operational until then.

Nominations for the 41st Annie Awards have been announced. Topping the list with 10 nominations each are Disney's Frozen and Monster's University.

If your Thanksgiving Week plans include taking in a Broadway show, please take notice of the special holiday schedule for the rest of this holiday weekend. This will mark the final engagement of this production. Previews began Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) with opening night scheduled for tonight, November 13, 2013 and a final performance set for Sunday, January 5, 2014. 700 Sundays is performed and written by Mr. Crystal with additional content by Alan Zweibel and direction by Des McAnuff.
