Indianapolis Opera opens the 2013-2014 Season with its premiere of Kurt Weill's The Threepenny Opera. All performances take place October 11-20, 2013 at the Basile Opera Center in Indianapolis. The 2013-14 Season marks 39 years for the IO.
With a band of swashbuckling buccaneers, bumbling British bobbies, frolicsome Victorian maidens, and the delightfully dotty "model of a modern Major-General," Three Stages at Folsom Lake College presents the classic romp over the rocky coast of Cornwall. America's pre-eminent Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble performs The Pirates of Penzance to a full orchestra and chorus.
