The following is an updated list of events at Mayo Performing Arts Center in August and September 2014.

The State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, PA, announces its 88th Season. Tickets for the new season will go on sale to State Theatre Members on Thursday, August 5th, to the public on Tuesday, August 19th.

Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli is a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker, and a vial of estrogen. Lampanelli has won accolades from many of her peers including the King of all media, Howard Stern, who called her, 'a true original and a brilliant comedy mind.' Known for saying things that most people are afraid to think, Lisa Lampanelli's raunchy, gut-busting performances are wildly popular at theaters across the country and sure to make for an unforgettable evening at The Colonial Theatre.

Comedian Bill Engvall, best known as the shining star of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, comes to The Bushnell's Mortensen Hall for one night only on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $28, go on sale today and are available at The Bushnell box office, 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford, by phone at 860-987-5900, and online at bushnell.org. The Mayo Performing Arts Center features over 100 events, concerts and performances in its 2014-2015 season. Tickets for events go on sale Monday, June 16 at 9 am online and 10 am in person and by phone (973-539-8008).

Comix At Foxwoods will host the multitalented comedian, actor and Broadway star, John Pinette, for a hilarious, one-night-only performance tonight, May 24 at 8 p.m.

TBS has extended the second season of Deal With It, adding 10 episodes to the hidden-camera competition series, which returns this fall.

Comix At Foxwoods will host hilarious up-and-comer Tom Cotter for four performances starting tonight, May 15. Cotter will perform nightly at 8 p.m. before wrapping up his stay with a special “Nasty”-themed show at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Comix At Foxwoods will present The truTV Impractical Jokers Tour featuring The Tenderloins for a hilarious standup and improv performance tonight, May 10, at 8 p.m.

Comix At Foxwoods will host hot up-and-comer, John Caparulo, for a four show lineup beginning tonight, May. 8. Caparulo will take the stage at 8 p.m. for three nights straight, before wrapping up his stay with a special 'Nasty'-themed 10:30 p.m.performance on Saturday, May 10.

Comix At Foxwoods will host Rolling Stone's 'Number One Partier in the Nation,' Bert Kreischer, for a three-night, four-show lineup beginning tonight, May 1. Kreischer will take the stage each night at 8 p.m., before wrapping up his stay with a special 'Nasty'-themed 10:30 p.m. performance on Saturday, May 3.

Comix At Foxwoods will host comedy veteran, D.L. Hughley, for back-to-back doubleheaders tonight, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. Hughley will take the stage for 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. shows each night, with the final performance being of the Comix fan-favorite 'Nasty' variety.

Comix At Foxwoods will host comedy star Maz Jobrani for a four show lineup beginning tonight, Apr. 17. Jobrani will take the stage at 8 p.m. each night, before wrapping up his stay with a double-header onSaturday, Apr. 19, featuring a special 'Nasty'-themed 10:30 p.m. performance.

Comix At Foxwoods will host American Comedy Award winner for “Best Male Stand-up Comedian,” Bill Engvall, at the MGM Grand Theater for a hilarious stand-up performance tonight, April 12 at 8 p.m.

Comix At Foxwoods will host the sketch comedy all-star, Bryan Callen, for a four show lineup beginning Today, April 10. Callen, who can currently be seen in the feature film, “Ride Along,” will take the stage at 8 p.m. each night, before wrapping up his stay with a double-header on Saturday, Apr. 12, featuring a special “Nasty”-themed10:30 p.m. performance.

Bill Engvall will be performing live at Paramount Theatre on July 11 at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from $35.50 - $55.50. The Treehouse has announced the best in live comedy is now, back in Danbury. Opening Night is Thursday April 17th in an All New Treehouse Comedy Showcase hosted by 2012 Grand Champion of the Funniest Comic in New England Contest John Romanoff and our first headlining show will be staged on Saturday April 26th.

Comix At Foxwoods will host the multitalented actor, writer and comedian, Dave Attell, for a one-night-only performance tonight, April 4 at 9 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased in advance for $30, $40 and $50. This show is for mature audiences only.
