Opening on Broadway in the fall of 2010, this original work will bring the audience into the life and times of one of America's most inspirational and mercurial personalities, Hall of Fame football coach Vince Lombardi.

Several of Detroit's funniest comedians, including Skeeter Murray, will perform a live comedy tribute for fellow comedian and impressionist Alturo Shelton aka 'Mr. Motown' at the City Theatre Saturday, October 24 at 8:00 p.m and 10:30 p.m. The concert will be filmed for national DVD release with a percentage of the proceeds going to develop the Alturo Shelton Foundation for the Performing Arts.

The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q, transferring from its 6-year run on Broadway to New World Stages (340 West 50 Street) in New York, with previews set to begin October 9, have announced casting for the Off-Broadway production along with the official opening night, now scheduled for October 21, 2009. Caliendo and Monte Carlo have signed an exclusive 10-year agreement that will make Caliendo a hilarious fixture at the resort for the next decade.

Announced from the stage tonight by producer Kevin McCollum was the unprecedented news that AVENUE Q was making theatre history by moving BACK off Broadway and that it will re-open on October 9, 2009 at New World Stages. Gennifer Flowers, whose name conjures up headlines of her relationship with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, is preparing a solo show, titled ‘Gennifer Unexpected'. Flowers is planning to debut the show in New Orleans in the Spring of 2010. A New York stop and national tours are also in the plans. Details of the debut and the tour will be announced at a later stage.
