Bill Cain's How to Write a New Book for the Bible: A Play for an Older Actress will have a staged reading March 8 at 7:30 p.m. as part of South Coast Repertory's NewSCRipts series. (Please note that the date has changed since the series was first announced.) Bible is the 111th play to receive a staged reading in SCR's venerable play reading program.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce the New York premiere of Bill Cain's EQUIVOCATION. The limited engagement will begin previews at MTC's New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in preparation for a Tuesday, March 2, 2010 opening night.

EQUIVOCATION Cancels First Preview; Now to Begin on Feb. 10th

The performance of Equivocation on Tuesday February 9 has been cancelled in order to allow for an additional day of technical rehearsal. Previews will now begin on Wednesday, February 10. EQUIVOCATION's opening night remains Tuesday, March 2 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Marin Theatre Company will produce the world premiere of its 2009 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize winner, Sunlight by Sharr White, January 21 through February 14, 2010. In addition to the Sky Cooper Prize, Sunlight has garnered substantial national recognition. Following MTC's premiere, this searing political thriller will be produced at three other theaters as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere-Arts West in Seattle, Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, and New Jersey Rep.

American Premiere of THE PITMEN PAINTERS Starring Original UK Cast Coming to MTC

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announce that Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Bob Boyett, will produce the Live Theatre, Newcastle /National Theatre of Great Britain's co-production of THE PITMEN PAINTERS by Tony Award winner Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) with direction by Max Roberts starring the original English company.
