The REP, Point Park University's professional theatre company, launches its 2012 - 2013 season at the Pittsburgh Playhouse on September 7th with a pillar of modern drama, August: Osage County by Tracy Letts. The recipient of the Pulitzer Prize and five Tony Awards in 2008, August: Osage County runs Sept. 7 through Sept. 23; John Shepard directs.

The Actors Fund and the Vineyard Theatre have announced details for their upcoming one-night-only benefit concert performance of Kander & Ebb's THE VISIT, starring Broadway stage legends and Tony Award winners Chita Rivera and John Cullum. Directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Tony Award winner Ann Reinking and musical direction by David Loud, the performance will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 West 49th Street), current home to the celebrated revival of Kander & Ebb's worldwide smash Chicago.

Eric Rosen, Artistic Director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, has cast thirteen veteran Kansas City actors in the Rep's production of Tracy Letts' August: Osage County, which Rosen will direct. The show runs September 16-October 9 at the Rep's Spencer Theatre.

When their father goes missing, the huge, sprawling and completely dysfunctional Weston family reunites and sparks fly.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Tracy Letts' award-winning play, August: Osage County. Directed by Obie Award winner Sam Gold, the dark comedy will run in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, May 7 - June 12. Preview performances run May 7 - May 11. Theatre Downtown will present the Central Floriday premiere of Tracy Letts' Tony-winning play August: Osage County. The production, directed by Frank Hilgenberg, will play weekends from Mar. 4th through Mar. 27th.
