Luna Stage continues its Jazz Series with "R&B Goes Jazz", featuring critically acclaimed saxophonist and flutist Don Braden. Braden, performing with drummer Cecil Brooks III and others, will play his contemporary standards repertoire, featuring Jazz arrangements of songs by Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, Roberta Flack and others. He will also perform some of his original compositions. 'R&B Goes Jazz' will be presented on Sunday, April 21st at 7:30pm. The Librarian of Congress, James H. Billington, today announced the selection of 25 sound recordings to the registry, marked for preservation because of their cultural, artistic and historic importance to the nation's aural legacy.

The all- star ensemble will perform classic jazz and original compositions by critically acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning artists: bassist and musical director Christian McBride, vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, saxophonist Chris Potter, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, pianist Benny Green and drummer Lewis Nash.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com), the Long Island summer arts day camp whose alumni include Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman and Olivia Thirlby, and once again chosen as a "Best Camp" for 2012 by TimeOutNY/Kids, presents its Festival Concerts lineup for its 45th season.
