Two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway composer William Finn will appear in Palm Springs on March 16, 2013 in 'Heart and Music: A Conversation With and Tribute To William Finn'. The man behind such Broadway hits as FALSETTOS and THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE as well as A NEW BRAIN and ELEGIES: A SONG CYCLE and more will be the 2103 recipient of Desert Ensemble Theatre Company's Melpomai Award, given annually to honor excellence in the development of theater nationally.

Neil Berg will brings his all new production, 101 Years of Broadway, to the McCallum Theatre for two performances, January 15 and 16 at 8:00 pm. 101 Years of Broadway recreates the biggest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the stars of shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita, Cats,Wonderful Town, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Fiddler on the Roof. Five Broadway Veterans light up the stage with songs from the hit shows in which they starred. Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling songs from Broadway's newest hit shows.

The holiday season totally snuck up on me this year. I'm writing this on December 11, just TWO WEEKS before Christmas (and already three nights into Hannukah), and I'm more than a little bit panicked!! Two weeks to do all of my shopping? Bay Street Theatre is pleased to announce its upcoming February School Vacation Kids Camp, February 18, 19 and 20. The camp is for students age 8 through 12, and runs from 9am - 3 pm each day at the Bay Street Theatre. Cost is $255 for the three-day camp per child.

The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, presents the debut duo engagement of stage and screen star, FRANC D'AMBROSIO, and Broadway star, JERI SAGER. For their show, "Together Again...For The First Time," the powerhouse duo will perform their favorite Broadway and pop hits along with stories of their early days together in New York City. The show will run today, December 11 through December 15.

Five of the entertainment world's leading ladies will perform in New Orleans in 2013 as Seth Rudetsky's popular Broadway Concert Series makes the leap to NOCCA's Lupin Hall from its summer home at The Art House in Provincetown, MA. Patti LuPone, two-time Tony winner for Gypsy and as the legendary original Evita, will appear for two shows only on January 7th at 6:30 and 8:30. Sutton Foster, two-time Tony-winner for this year's Anything Goes and previously for Thoroughly Modern Millie and star of the ABC Family series Bunheads arrives for one show only on March 2nd at 7:30. Megan Mullally, two-time Emmy-winning star of TV's Will and Grace and star of Broadway's Young Frankenstein performs two shows only on April 6th at 7:30 and 9:30. Audra McDonald, a five-time Tony Award winner and recent star of Porgy and Bess on Broadway and TV's Private Practice will make her New Orleans debut with two shows only on May 18 at 7:30 and 9:30. Betty Buckley, the Tony winning legendary star of Cats and Sunset Boulevard will close the series on June 1 with two shows only at 7:30 and 9:30. The visiting Broadway artists will also be giving master classes for the NOCCA Institute's high school-aged musical theatre students. All five concerts are produced by Mark Cortale, long time producer/manager of Jeffery Roberson aka Varla Jean Merman, and will be hosted by Sirius/XM radio star Seth Rudetsky at the piano. Last night, December 2, The Trevor Project presented its annual benefit event, "Trevor Live" presented by Audi of America and Wells Fargo and directed by celebrated director, producer and choreographer Adam Shankman. This high-profile evening of music, comedy and entertainment honoedr Audi of America with the Trevor 2020 Award and international superstar Katy Perry with the Trevor Hero Award. A slew of Broadway favorites were in attendence, including: Kristin Chenoweth, Andrew Rannells, Laura Benanti, Betty Buckley, Matthew Morrison, and more. Check out photos from the red carpet below!

Tony Award winner Betty Buckley brought her acclaimed show, 'Ah Men - The Boys of Broadway' to the Smith Center in Las Vegas this weekend. The Charing Cross Theatre will present the British premiere of Jerry Herman's musical DEAR WORLD, starring Betty Buckley and Paul Nicholas and directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne, from 4 February - 30 March 2013, with a press night on Wednesday 13 February.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production ofThe Mystery of Edwin Drood began previews on October 19th. This year's group of honorees included Tony Award-winning actress Judith Light, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley and NY1 theatre critic Roma Torre.
