MOTOWN UNPLUGGED: A LEGACY OF LOVE, Featuring Touring Cast, to Benefit BC/EFA in Detroit

Cast members of the national touring production of Motown the Musical (coming to Detroit April 18 - 30 at the Fisher Theatre) will perform in a special concert to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Ferndale's Blessings in a Backpack. 'MOTOWN UNPLUGGED: A LEGACY OF LOVE' takes place at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24 at The Loving Touch, 22634 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 18+ event.

New Works by Dominique Morisseau, Lemony Snicket and More Slated for Berkeley Rep's 2017-18 Season

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced a collection of seven productions for its 2017-18 subscription season. Featured in the season are new and classic works by Tony Kushner, Julia Cho, Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket), Dominique Morisseau, Nilaja Sun, Lillian Hellman, directed by Tony Taccone, Lisa Peterson, Des McAnuff, and Ron Russell. The season includes two world premieres and one West Coast premiere.
