SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy® Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, "Big Love"). The new musical Kinky Boots, from four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) presents COLLECTED STORIES by Donald Margulies, now through December 16, 2012, in collaboration with Forward Theater Company of Madison. In COLLECTED STORIES two strong-willed writers from dramatically different backgrounds struggle with success. MCT has also produced Margulies' plays BROOKLYN BOY (2009) and his Pulitzer Prize-winner DINNER WITH FRIENDS (2003). Carol Carpenter's familial drama The Guadalupe will be presented by On the Square Productions' Write Angle Reading series at University Settlement on November 26th at 7:30pm in Speyer Hall where On the Square Productions is an Artist-In-Residence for their 2012-2013 season. Jump For Joy Productions presents Adam Bock's comedy The Drunken City, directed by Misti B. Wills (In Search of Euphoria, New World Stages). The Drunken City will play a limited engagement at The WorkShop Theatre's Mainstage (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Ave.). Performances begin Friday November 30th (8 p.m.) and continue through Sunday December 16th (2 p.m.).

A group of 136 Stagedoor Manor students from all over the world will sing and dance the grand finale at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®, marking the famed theatrical summertime training ground's fourth consecutive Parade performance. After traveling the entire parade route, the Stagedoor Manor students will arrive at Herald Square and introduce Santa Claus by performing the number "Santa By The Book" from Macy's new program Yes, Virginia The Musical. Yes, Virginia The Musical had its world premiere at Stagedoor Manor earlier this year and its original cast, made up of 28 Stagedoor Manor students ages 10-13, will accompany Santa and Mrs. Claus on their float for the entirety of the Parade route.

Tonight, November 18th, A Time To Shine Kidz/Teen Cabaret will be celebrating the Youth of Broadway on the Main Stage at The Broadway Comedy Club 318 West 53rd Street at 5:30PM.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the lineup for the 21st edition of SPANISH CINEMA NOW, December 7-16, featuring the latest, most exciting films from Spain, as well as a salute to surrealist master, Luis Buñuel.

This Past Monday, November 12th, cast members from the national tour of Jersey Boys hosted the a cabaret fundraiser called 'Rock Like a Man' at the Carolina Theatre to benefit BCEFA and the Carolina Arts Discovery Program. The cast sang songs from the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Bob Marley and more - and included several original songs written by cast members themselves. The event raised over $9000. Jersey Boys is running at the Durham Performing Arts Center through November 18th.
