Young People's Chorus of NYC Presents SPRING CELEBRATION: A FAMILY CONCERT Tonight, 6/9

For the first time the Young People's Chorus of New York City, under its Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez, is scheduling two performances of its perennially sold-out, annual 'Spring Celebration: A Family Concert,' which takes place this year tonight, June 9 at the 92nd Street Y. The concerts will be presented at 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon and again at 7 p.m. in the evening.

North Carolina Symphony Presents THE PINES OF ROME Tonight, 6/9

Grab a seat under the pines for "The Pines of Rome," the North Carolina Symphony's musical toast to the natural world. The concert takes place at Cary's Booth Amphitheatre tonight, June 9, at 7:30 p.m. Children 12 and under are free on the lawn.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere of February House, with music and lyrics by Gabriel Kahane and book by Seth Bockley, now through June 10th. Three stars of the show - composer and lyricist Gabriel Kahane, actress Kacie Sheik, and actor Julian Fleisher have all been tapped by Joe's Pub at The Public Theater for solo performances this month, beginning tonight, June 4.

Australian Musical Theatre Star Anthony Warlow is 'Daddy Warbucks' in Broadway's New ANNIE

Australia's preeminent musical theatre and opera star Anthony Warlow will make his Broadway debut as billionaire Daddy Warbucks in the new production of ANNIE, the Tony Award-winning classic musical. ANNIE opens November 8 at the Palace Theatre (1567 Broadway at 47th Street). Previews begin October 3. Warlow stars opposite two-time Tony Award-winner Katie Finneran as Miss Hannigan and 11-year-old Lilla Crawford (Billy Elliot) as Annie.

The Summer Festival of Sacred Music at St. Bart's to Launch with Gay Composers Service 6/24

The Public Theater just announced today that it will extend the critically acclaimed new musical FEBRUARY HOUSE by one additional week through Sunday, June 17. With music and lyrics by Gabriel Kahane and book by Seth Bockley, FEBRUARY HOUSE, currently playing in The Public's Martinson Theater, opened on Tuesday, May 22 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, June 10. Single tickets, beginning at $80, are on sale now.
