Sundance Institute and Mahindra Announce 2014 Global Filmmaking Award Winners

Sundance Institute and Mahindra today announced the winners of the 2014 Sundance Institute | Mahindra Global Filmmaking Award, in recognition and support of emerging independent filmmakers from around the world. The winning directors and projects are Hong Khaou, MONSOON from Vietnam/UK; Tobias Lindholm, A WAR from Denmark; Ashlee Page, ARCHIVE from Australia; and Neeraj Ghaywan, FLY AWAY SOLO from India.

Ian Rickson's critically acclaimed revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo will complete its run on 8 February 2014 as previously announced. Earlier this month, Mojo, which has been playing to packed houses at the Harold Pinter Theatre since its opening in October, announced an extension to its West End run due to public demand.

Ian Rickson's critically acclaimed West End revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo today announces a further two weeks of performances due to public demand. Mojo, which is playing to packed houses at the Harold Pinter Theatre, will now complete its run on 8 February 2014 with its original cast - Brendan Coyle (Mickey), Rupert Grint (Sweets), Tom Rhys Harries (Silver Johnny), Daniel Mays (Potts), Colin Morgan (Skinny) and Ben Whishaw (Baby).

Ian Rickson directs Brendan Coyle (Mickey), Rupert Grint (Sweets), Daniel Mays (Potts), Colin Morgan (Skinny), Ben Whishaw (Baby) and Tom Rhys Harries (Silver Johnny) in a major West End revival of Jez Butterworth's award-winning Mojo, reuniting director and writer who previously collaborated on the play's world premiere at the Royal Court in 1995. Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. The series, See It Big!: Great Cinematographers, runs from November 8 through December 29, 2013.
