With so many upcoming projects in the works, BWW has put together a guide to what's in store from the House of Mouse and its uber-talented creative teams!

It is announced today that the Tony Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated actor Sophie Okonedo will join Damian Lewis in a new production of Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?  Directed by Ian Rickson, the production will play a strictly limited 12 week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 24th March to 24th June 2017.

Variety reports that Emily Mortimer and Ben Whishaw have signed on to the cast of Disney's MARY POPPINS RETURNS. The actors will join previously announced cast members Emily Blunt, Meryl Street and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the film.

Actress Ophelia Lovibond has done a range of screen roles, from beleaguered Izzy in W1A to Elementary, Guardians of the Galaxy and new Sky 1 series Hooten & The Lady. Now, she's making her West End debut, playing 17th-century actress Elizabeth Barry in The Libertine opposite Dominic Cooper as the infamous Earl of Rochester.

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director Michael Grandage and Tony and Olivier Award-winning scenic and costume designer Christopher Oram are confirmed for the creative team of Frozen, a new musical based on Disney's Academy Award-winning musical film, slated to open at Broadway's St. James Theatre in spring 2018.  

Singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading will compose original music for Phyllida Lloyd's forthcoming production of The Tempest. The songs will be set to Shakespeare's words in the Donmar's new all-female production which starts performance from tonight 23rd September.

The New York Drama Critics' Circle just presented its 2015-2016 Best Play and Best Musical: Stephen Karam's THE HUMANS and George C. Wolfe, Eubie Blake and Noble Sissle's SHUFFLE ALONG, OR THE MAKING OF THE MUSICAL SENSATION OF 1921 AND ALL THAT FOLLOWED. The selections were made at the organization's 81st annual voting meeting.

The newest edition of THEATER TALK features the director and two cast members of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, the critically-acclaimed and Tony-nominated Best Revival Of A Play now at the Walter Kerr Theatre - director Ivo Van Hove, Ben Whishaw, and Sophie Okonedo (also Tony-nominated as Best Actress in a Leading Role). The revival received a total of 4 Tony nominations.
