Relativity Media has solidified an exclusive production arrangement with MediaWeaver Entertainment, it was announced today by Relativity's President, Tucker Tooley. In the deal, founder Matt Weaver will focus on theatrical and live shows while also potentially bringing in new film, television and digital projects to Relativity's respective divisions including Relativity's television division RelativityREAL, and digital studio RogueLife.

The film, written and directed by Henry Bromell (consulting producer and writer of Showtime's Golden Globe Award-winning series Homeland) is set to begin production in early 2013. Arianda joins a cast that includes Oscar-nominees William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, and Brazilian breakout star Wagner Maura who will play the title role of the iconic director.

THE WATCH comes to theaters today, July 27th from 20th Century Fox. The Sci-fi comedy was written by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, JarEd Stern and directed by Akiva Schaffer. Its cast includes Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Rosemarie DeWitt.

According to Deadline, VENUS IN FUR Tony Award winner Nina Arianda will play Janis Joplin in the upcoming film Joplin, directed by Sean Durkin.

On the road with his "C 4 URself" Tour, comedic superstar Carlos Mencia will perform at Treasure Island tonight, July 6 at 9 p.m. Guests must be 18 years or older to attend.
