Ben Rimalower to Present THE LADY'S GOT POTENTIAL at Birdland, 4/7

The Broadway at Birdland concert series has announced that writer/performer/director Ben Rimalower will host The Lady's Got Potential, an evening of songs and conversation with some of the most exciting up and coming actresses working in musical theater today. The event will take place on Monday, April 7 at 7pm.

Carol Piersol and Richmond Triangle Players present PATTI ISSUES by Ben Rimalower, playing at RTP in Scott's Addition March 3 - 11 and at HATTheatre in RVA's Far West End March 20 - April 5, as part of RVA's Acts of Faith Festival. Two-time RTCC Best Actor nominee Billy Christopher Maupin (A BRIGHT NEW BOISE, TWELFTH NIGHT, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN) stars as Ben Rimalower. Carol Piersol (Founding Artistic Director of the Firehouse Theatre Project, Producer of BREAST IN SHOW, GIDION'S KNOT, and RACE) directs.

Ben Rimalower to Bring PATTI ISSUES to Baltimore & Tour in 2014

BEN RIMALOWER: 'PATTI ISSUES' - the hit solo play hailed as 'ecstatically vivid' by The New York Times and praised for its 'wit, feeling and conviction' by Time Out New York - will be presented in Baltimore, Maryland and aboard the RSVP Vacations' 'Divina Cruise' this winter, plus an upcoming 'mini-tour' of South Florida this spring, on the heels of its triumphant 14-month run in New York and following recent performances in Boston, Berlin, Glasgow, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Berkeley, Provincetown and the Fire Island Pines, as well as its inclusion as an official selection in the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Summer Conference. Ben Rimalower Set to Host THE SOUND OF MUSIC Screening at XL Nightclub on 12/5

The kindness continues on December 5th when XL Nightclub, Cabaret and Lounge will host a screening of NBC's THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! starring Carrie Underwood, Audra McDonald, Stephen Moyer, Christian Borle and Laura Benanti. Doors will open at 6pm at XL (512 42nd ST between 10th and 11th Avenues). The screening will be shown on HD TVs throughout the space at 8pm. All For One Theater Festival (AFO) and Michael Wolk, Executive Director, have announced the exciting line-up of the Third Annual All For One Theatre Festival. The official announcement was made Monday night at a gArden Party at The Courtyard at the Hartley House, with a wine tasting sponsored by a cellar full of noise, included appearances byMike Daisey, Colman Domingo and BD Wong, and special guests including Tom Hewitt and Nilaja Sun. Award-winning solo performer Ben Rimalower presented Eva Price with the Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals and companies who have forged the way for solo theatre. The third annual All For One Theatre Festival will play a limited engagement at Cherry Lane Studio Theater (38 Commerce Street, NY).
