THE LION KING welcomes Syndee Winters as Nala, beginning performances tonight, June 1. Making her Broadway debut, Winters joins the New York company of THE LION KING directly from the North American tour. Winters will play her final Broadway performance Sunday, August 26, 2012. Jacobs, who most recently starred in the title role of the world premiere of Aladdin at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, previously played the role of Simba on national tour. Ben Jeffrey, who is currently starring on Broadway as Pumba the Warthog in the Lion King, is visiting the KC area briefly and will be doing master acting classes and a public performace as a benefit for Calvary Bible College performing arts scholarships. Everyone who takes the master classes will perform in 'Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat' with Ben at the public performance on Monday evening, January 24. Other extremely talented Calvary staff will be handling the vocal and dance master class segments.
