Tim Crouch, Paul Hunter and Hattie Morahan will each appear in acclaimed Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour's one-person show Blank as part of RADAR, the Bush Theatre's annual festival of new writing. The show's UK premiere will feature a different performer reading a sealed script every night. Paul Hunter will appear on 19th November, Tim Crouch on 20th November, and Hattie Morahan on 21st November.
New Adventures & Re:Bourne are delighted to announce that Jamaal Burkmar is the winner of the 2015/16 New Adventures Choreographer Award (NACA). Nearly 100 applied for the award. Burkmar was shortlisted with six other emerging choreographers: Corey Baker, Tara D'Arquian, Alexandra Green, Eleesha Drennan, Andrew McNicol and Matt Nicholson. Crow is a major new production inspired by Ted Hughes' poetic creation, from Handspring Puppet Company UK, the sister company to Handspring Puppet Company South Africa. Mervyn Millar will direct Matthew Dunster's adaptation with choreography from one of Britain's rising stars in dance, Ben Duke. This much anticipated world premiere will be presented as part of the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival at The Borough Hall at Greenwich Dance. Crow is co-commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London 2012 Festival.
