Purple Rose Theatre Company Announces Jeff Daniels: Onstage & Unplugged, 12/27-31

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will present Jeff Daniels' Onstage & Unplugged for a limited six-show engagement from Thursday, December 27 through Monday, December 31, 2012. Tony-Winner Douglas Hodge to Return to Broadway as CYRANO

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony® Award winner Douglas Hodge will star in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, with a translation by Ranjit Bolt and directed by Jamie Lloyd. Cyrano de Bergerac will begin previews on September 14, 2012 and open officially on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). This will be a limited engagement through November 25, 2012. The full cast & design team will be announced soon.

2012 Tony Omissions - What Potential Nominees Were Overlooked?

Earlier this morning, stage and screen stars Kristin Chenoweth & Jim Parsons announced this year's Tony nominees from the New York Public Library. In a season as rich as this past theatrical season though, there are only so many spots for nominees and some very talented shows and performers were not nominated. Below are the eligible performers and shows who were not nominatined in the major categories.

Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Damian Arnold, presents the Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti's classic farce Don't Dress For Dinner, starring Ben Daniels as 'Robert,' Patricia Kalember as 'Jacqueline,' Adam James as 'Bernard,' David Aron Damane as 'George' and Jennifer Tilly as 'Suzanne' with Spencer Kayden as 'Suzette.' Don't Dress For Dinner is adapted by Robin Hawdon and directed by John Tillinger. Don't Dress For Dinner will began previews on March 30 and opens officially tomorrow, April 26, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. Roundabout Theatre Company to Present World Premiere of BAD JEWS This Fall

The Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the world premiere production of Bad Jews by Joshua Elias Harmon and directed by Daniel Aukin for the fall season. Bad Jews will begin preview performances on October 5, 2012 and will open officially on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. This is a limited engagement through December 16, 2012. All tickets for Roundabout Underground productions are $20.
