Our Summer Season opens on 7 June with the return of our acclaimed 'Celebrating British Music Theatre' series with the long overdue London premiere of Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley's musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director), in keeping with its mission of inspiring, supporting and sharing the art of playwriting, has announced the line-up for the annual Fresh Ink Reading Series, with staged readings of new plays by members of the Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group: Bekah Brunstetter, David Caudle, Cheri Magid, Rogelio Martinez, Janine Nabers, Tommy Smith, and Adam Szymkowicz.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) proudly presents the world premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's new play Be a Good Little Widow, directed by Stephen Brackett. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays Wednesday, April 20 through Saturday, May 14 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced casting today for the New York premiere of KNICKERBOCKER, written by Jonathan Marc Sherman and directed by Pippin Parker. The final show in the 2010-2011 Public LAB season, KNICKERBOCKER will run Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 29, with an official press opening on Thursday, May 19. Single tickets go on sale on March 30; Public Theater member tickets on sale beginning March 17. All tickets for Public LAB productions are $15.
