Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actor Beau Bridges and Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale have joined the SHOWTIME drama pilot MASTERS OF SEX. Bridges will play University Chancellor Barton Scully, William Masters' boss, while Martindale will guest star as Miss Horchow, Masters' very by the book secretary. Directed by Academy Award nominee John Madden ('Shakespeare in Love'), the pilot will begin production in New York next week. Acclaimed actors Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan were recently cast as the leads - 1960's human sexuality pioneers William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Actress Caitlin Fitzgerald ("It's Complicated," "Gossip Girl") has also been cast as William Masters' wife Libby.
Broadway stars Montego Glover, Beau Bridges and Judith Ivey will be featured on the season finale of the USA Network drama series WHITE COLLAR. The episode, entitled "Judgement Day", will air Tuesday, February 28th at 10/9c.
BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Sara Jean Ford (THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA) will step into the shoes of 'Smitty' in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Ford will be replacing Mary Faber, who originated the role in the revival.
Additional cast changes over a the Al Hirschfeld Theatre will also take effect on February 28 for the role of 'Rosemary Pillkington' when current star Rose Hemingway takes a leave from the production through April 29. No reason for her hiatus has been announced. Hemingway's understudy, Stephanie Rothenberg, will assume the role on her absence.
