The Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, CT announced today the opening of a new exhibition entitled For Business or Pleasure?: Twain's Summer Sojourns. The comprehensive exhibit will focus on the Clemens family's American summer vacations and the diverting aspects of Gilded Age leisure and travel.

The National Theatre of the Deaf has launched their Fall Touring Season with a varied and comprehensive bill featuring: Two by Twain -Experience of the McWilliamses directed by Guest Artist Joey Caverly and Mrs. McWilliams and the Lightning directed by Guest Artist William C. The National Theatre of the Deaf is pleased to announce a performance of excerpts from John Basinger's THE KING, based on the title character in William Shakespeare's KING LEAR. Mr. Basinger will also direct this production for NTD. Patrick Graybill plays the lead character.  Graybill is responsible for the Sign Language adaptation of THE KING.

This is the 5th Summer Season of TIP (Theatre Immersion Program) produced in collaboration with ASD and the renowned outdoor performance/gallery space on Bank St-- just steps from the Transportation Center in downtown New London. The Little Theatre of the Deaf company will present their family-oriented production Stories In My Pocket Too at Hygienic Art Park in New London, CT, on August 19, 21 and 26. Performances times will be at 10am and 1pm. Admission is free to the public.

The National Theatre of the Deaf has announced six performances of the Little Theatre of the Deaf company's family-oriented production Stories In My Pocket Too during the month of August 2012 at Hygienic Art Park in New London, CT. These performances are funded in part by a grant from The City of New London Water Authority Community Fund and a generous contribution by Hygienic Art.
