Yesterday Not That Jewish, the new comedy at New World Stages written by and starring Emmy Award winner Monica Piper, welcomed Jackie Hoffman for a backstage visit. Check out a photo of the pair below!

At a recent performance of NOT THAT JEWISH, the new comedy at New World Stages written by and starring Emmy Award winner Monica Piper, got just a little more Jewish when Fran Drescher came to see the show. After the performance, she stopped backstage to congratulate Piper on her hit - scroll down for a photo of the pair together!

In addition to new parodies which re-work selections from Adele, Rent and Bruno Mars to hilarious, effect punctuated by zany Laugh-In style zingers, Bunny has widened her---don't go there!--repertoire to include some actually insightful social commentary. (Well, she thinks it's insightful, anyway.)

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, February 19 with a celebration of the iconic director and choreographer Michael Bennett at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests for the February show include Ashanti J'Aria, who joins previously-announced Carolee Carmello, T. Oliver Reid, Rob Maitner, Jacob Hoffman, Lori Ann Ferreri, Rosie Lani Fiedelmanand Tera-Lee Pollin. Tracy Stark serves as the evening's music director.

In response to overwhelming popular demand, the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced the return of the legendary Miss Coco Peru in her latest solo show, A Gentle Reminder: Miss Coco Peru's Guide to a Somewhat Happy Life. There will be two performances only at the Renberg Theatre today and Saturday, February 10 & 11 at 8pm.

The side-splitting parody of the 70s game show returns to the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre for two hilarious nights today, January 20 and Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 8pm.

The 62nd Annual Drama Desk Awards will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 8:00 PM at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street), it was announced today by Charles Wright, Drama Desk President and Gretchen Shugart, CEO of TheaterMania.com and Managing Executive Producer of the Drama Desk Awards. TheaterMania will present the awards ceremony for the sixth consecutive year.
