Williamstown Theatre Festival (Nicholas Martin, Artistic Director) announced today that Terry Kinney (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; reasons to be pretty) will direct a production of Lanford Wilson's modern classic Fifth of July, which will play the WTF Main Stage from August 11 - 22, 2010. A co-production with Bay Street Theatre, this gentle comic drama from Wilson's beloved Talley Trilogy will be the final Main Stage production of the season.

Twitter Watch shines a BWW spotlight on Diane Paulus, the Tony-nominated director of Broadway's HAIR and Artistic Director of A.R.T. in Boston. Paulus recently finished directing the new Tribe in the Broadway hit, who premiere tonight, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. She next takes the original Tribe to London, where they will open in the West End at the Gilegud Theatre on April 14.

On March 4, 2010, Bay Street's inaugural Girls Night Out brought out the East End's ladies in droves, despite the cold and dreary weather. With the doors open at 6pm on March 3rd, more than 60 ladies were greeted at the door with a drink coupon for a delicious margarita or other cocktail, mini-spa treatments by Style Bar experts, a Trunk show by Tikka Designs, raffles for fabulous treatments and fashion items and much, much more!
