There's no slowing down at Bay Street this winter. A full schedule continues with music, movies, and girls night fun! Grab friends or family and come on down to the wharf as Bay Street offers up a little something for fashion, movie and music lovers alike.

After much anticipation, GIRLS NIGHT OUT has finally arrived on Wednesday, March 3 at 6:30pm. All ladies will be greeted at the door with a drink coupon, a chance to win a spa package, admission to movie, raffles and much, much more! For those ladies looking for a few moments to relax, "What Women Want" with Mel Gibson, will be shown on the big screen.

Bay Street Theatre is honored to have a number of local businesses assisting them with this event. Sponsors include Style Bar Day Spa, Tikka Designs, Inc., Adornments Fine Jewelry, and Sen Restaurant. Tickets are $20 and include everything from mini-manicures and massage treatments, to cocktails and fashion, from sushi demos to trunk shows. Tickets can be purchased at the door starting at 6pm.

THE JAM SESSION continues on March 4th and will be held every Thursday through March 25 from 7 - 9pm. Music lovers can enjoy live jazz courtesy of local musicians. As a listener, this is an opportunity to experience amazing music at a wonderful venue, at an incredible price - free!

THE PICTURE SHOW at Bay Street, sponsored in part by REILLY WINDOWS & DOORS, features "Best Picture Winners" Weekend on March 5th and 6th. Start your Oscar fun early. Friday evening will feature WEST SIDE STORY, the musical film with the most Oscar wins and on Saturday, MY FAIR LADY, the Oscar favorite of 1964, will be shown. These classic films are presented as they were meant to be seen-on the big screen! The doors open at 7:30 and films start at 8pm. Tickets are $5.

The American Hotel continues to offer a $25 "Dinner and A Movie" prix-fixe package, which includes a 3-course dinner, popcorn and a ticket to the film. Dinner reservations should be made by calling the hotel directly at 631-725-3535.

On Sunday, March 7th prior to Oscar fun, Bay Street's popular SINGER-SONGWRITER SUNDAYS continues with up-and-coming talent and seasoned pros performing original songs. Sure to please both young and old alike! SINGER-SONGWRITER SUNDAYS are free and will finish up on Sunday, March 21st from 5 - 7pm.

Calling all film critics! Loved HURT LOCKER? Couldn't get enough of Jeff Bridges in CRAZY HEART? For all those movie lovers out there, Bay Street will be broadcasting the 82nd ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS on Sunday, March 7th beginning at 7:30pm live from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. This free broadcast of the Oscars will be co-hosted by funnymen Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. Sure to be an interesting and exciting race!
