As BroadwayWorld previously reported, one of Rodgers & Hammerstein's most beloved musicals, The King and I, will be brought back to the stage by Lincoln Center Theater in Spring 2015. On the red carpet for tonight's 2014 Tony Awards, long-rumored lead Kelli O'Hara confirmed she's currently in talks to reteam with THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY director, Bartlett Sher, on the revival.

Jason Robert Brown won the 2014 Tony for Best Orchestrations for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. Jason Robert Brown was nominated both for Best Score and Best Orchestrations for his work on THE BRIDGES OF MADISON County this year. He won a Tony Award for PARADE in 1999 and was nominated for URBAN COWBOY in 2003, both in the Best Score category.

Jason Robert Brown won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Original Score Written for the Theatre for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. Jason Robert Brown was nominated both for Best Score and Best Orchestrations for his work on The Bridges of Madison County this year. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that Tony winner Bartlett will direct the revival. Casting has not yet been announced, though Rodgers and Hammerstein veteran Kelli O'Hara, who just concluded a run in Sher's The Bridges of Madison County, has long been rumored to lead the revival.

Barnes & Noble just celebrated the new Ghostlight Records cast recording of The Bridges of Madison County, the new romantic musical which recently closed at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), with a special in-store performance and CD signing.The event featured stars Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale, in addition to other cast members. The composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown joined them at the piano, with Justin Goldner and Gary Sieger on guitars and Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello. Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will feature Resident Actor Jeffrey Bean as Vanya, Sharon Lockwood returning to the Alley as Sonia, Alley Artist Josie de Guzman returning as Masha, and Resident Actor Jay Sullivan as Spike.
