The Gala takes place on Saturday, March 18, beginning at 6:30pm. Penny Bank is the Chair.

In celebration of Pride Month, Palm Beach Dramaworks' Contemporary Voices series will shine the spotlight on playwright Michael McKeever in June. This free, online series features live readings and discussions of plays by a cross-section of some of the finest American playwrights working in theatre today.

A who’s who in the history of Palm Beach Dramaworks is set to participate in a live reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol on Monday evening, December 21 at 7:30pm. In the tradition of Dickens reading his own work, this presentation will showcase PBD luminaries reading the 1843 novella, with each artist separately performing a portion of the book before handing off to the next actor.

Palm Beach Dramaworks will welcome in 2021 with its third annual New Year/New Plays Festival, which takes place online from January 6 – January 10.

The sounds infusing the lobby of the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion on March 16 were voices from a bygone era, those that filled the airwaves when radio reigned and families gathered 'round to listen to all kinds of programs - not just music but mysteries, comedies, adventure stories, and police procedurals.

He might have said the same thing on March 11, had he walked into the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion for Palm Beach Dramaworks 

In each of its seasons "PREformances with Allison Charney" turns the spotlight on the virtuosity of the concert series' extraordinarily talented collaborative pianist, Craig Ketter. When he assumes center stage onMarch 13th Mr. Ketter will take the opportunity to play the infrequently performed music of 20th century composer, pianist and conductor Viktor Ullmann. Over the past decade pianist Craig Ketter has collaborated with colleagues in "The Ullmann Project," bringing the music Viktor Ullmann and a lost generation of musicians stifled by the Nazi regime to a broader audience. As with all PREformances' special guests, Mr. Ketter's performance anticipates a special, future engagement - in this case, a recording project of the complete piano sonatas of Viktor Ullmann.

JCC Manhattan presents the fall season finale of PREformances with Allison Charney on Monday, December 14th at 12:30pm. In this unique concert series, you will hear celebrated classical musicians just before their performances on the world's most prestigious stages removing traditional barriers between performer and audience.

With Palm Beach Dramaworks' 15th Anniversary Gala fast approaching, Esther & Sid Dinerstein, the evening's chairs, hosted a cocktail reception on January 26 at The Breakers for the Gala Committee in anticipation of the main event. Palm Beach Dramaworks has announced "Some Enchanted Evening' will be the new theme of its 14th annual Spring Gala, an evening of dinner and entertainment on Friday, March 14th (6:30PM) to benefit and celebrate West Palm Beach's longest residing theatre company. At a recent planning meeting, Gala chairpersons Louise & Barry Snyder announced the evening will feature a south seas theme along with musical performances by America's leading baritone William Michals. Not only did Mr. Michals win over critics and audiences this past summer playing the lead in Dramaworks' highly acclaimed production of Man of La Mancha, he also took Broadway by storm with his performance in the landmark revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Lincoln Center!
