Olivier Award Winner Ruth Wilson Joins Jake Gyllenhaal in MTC's CONSTELLATIONS on Broadway

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) and the Royal Court Theatre, by special arrangement with Ambassador Theatre Group and the Dodgers, just announced that two-time Olivier Award winner Ruth Wilson (BBC's and PBS' Emmy nominated "Luther," Showtime's "The Affair") will star opposite previously announced Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal in the American premiere of Constellations, the acclaimed new play by Nick Payne, directed by Michael Longhurst.

MTC's THE COUNTRY HOUSE with Blythe Danner Begins Previews Tonight

Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere co-production of The Country House, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, begins previews tonight, September 9, and opens Thursday, October 2 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The Country House is produced in association with the Geffen Playhouse.

MTC's Stargate Theatre Company Presents WEATHERING THE STORM Today

The Stargate Theatre Company, a project of Manhattan Theatre Club's Education Department will perform an original piece, Weathering the Storm, today, August 16th at 4:00PM and 7:00PM at MTC- Stage II at New York City Center (131 W. 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues). Each performance will last 30 minutes and will be followed by a talkback onstage with the performer-writers. After the 7:00PM talkback, there will be a brief reception in the theatre lobby.

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of When We Were Young and Unafraid, the new play by Sarah Treem ('House of Cards,' 'In Treatment'), directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Clybourne Park), ends its run today, Sunday, August 10. The show has played 29 preview performances and 64 regular performances.

New York City Center's 2014-15 season features an exciting lineup of dance and musical theater that begins with the 11th season of City Center's acclaimed Fall for Dance Festival. The Festival features 24 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, and will kick off in September with two free dance performances at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in association with The Public Theater, followed by five unique programs at City Center in October. The Band Wagon, an Encores! Special Event starring Brian Stokes Mitchell, follows in November, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, City Center's Principal Dance Company, returns for a month-long engagement in December.
