The original Broadway cast of Grease will reunite next month for a special 40-year anniversary tribute during the opening number of the 23rd Annual Gypsy of the Year, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Friday, November 25 at 11:59 PM (midnight). The movie, originally slated for Halloween weekend, was postponed due to snow.

The Frederick theatre scene will be rockin' this Halloween as Way Off Broadway and Stock•ing Productions team up to bring the cult classic The Rocky Horror Show to the stage for a special Halloween presentation. The limited engagement will have performances on Sunday, October 30th and Monday, October 31st.

In addition to its Mainstage and Children's Theatre seasons, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is also known for presenting a number of events throughout the year including interactive murder mysteries, princess and fairytale breakfasts, a wildly popular Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus), as well as special theatrical productions.

The Rocky Horror Show was written by Richard O'Brien and first premiered in London in 1973 and went on to spin off a movie adaptation in 1975 starring Tim Curry as Frank N Furter, Susan Sarandon as Janet, and Barry Bostwick as Brad.

The Old Globe today announced that James Vásquez will direct the theater's upcoming revival of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Vásquez replaces the previously announced Oanh Nguyen, who has departed the production due to artistic differences.

On Friday, September 2nd at 8:00 PM, The Orpheum invites everyone to a little tantalization during the Summer Movie Series finale and annual screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that Matt McGrath will appear in the role of Frank ‘N' Furter in The Old Globe's upcoming production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. McGrath appeared on Broadway as the Emcee in Sam Mendes' hit revival of Cabaret and in the international tour of Tom Waits and William S. Burroughs' The Black Rider: The Casting of the Magic Bullets directed by Robert Wilson. He has also appeared Off Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Itch and A Fair Country at Lincoln Center Theater. McGrath replaces the previously announced James Barbour, who has departed the production.
