A new reality series featuring the family of 'View' host Whoopi Goldberg is currently in development.

Bernard Haitink will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct two weeks of performances highlighting works by Austrian composers - Berg, Webern, and Mahler - and Beethoven, who spent much of his career in Austria. In the first program, Mr. Haitink will conduct Webern's Im Sommerwind, Berg's Violin Concerto with Leonidas Kavakos, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 3, Eroica, tonight, May 8, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 p.m. Bernard Haitink's appearances are part of an international, season-wide celebration of the 60th anniversary of his conducting debut with the Netherlands Radio Union Orchestra (now the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra) and his 85th birthday.

SHN has announced the addition of three special engagements coming to the SHN Orpheum and Curran Theatres: BUYER & CELLAR starring Michael Urie from TV's "Ugly Betty"; CHICAGO starring John O'Hurley from TV's "Dancing With the Stars"; and the brand new hit stage show I LOVE LUCY LIVE ON STAGE adapted from the most beloved program in television history.

S2BN Entertainment and OZONO Producciones are bringing the hit off-Broadway show, Fuerza Bruta, back to life with WAYRA, an electrifying and innovative spectacle that has most recently been performed in London, England and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The New York City performance will premiere at the Daryl Roth Theatre on June 25th, 2014, and includes spectacular new scenes from the international sensation.

Happy Birthday Barbra Streisand! Streisand has appeared on Broadway in I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE and FUNNY GIRL, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Streisand won the 1968 Academy Award for Best Actress for the role in the film version of the musical. Her next two movies were also based on musicals, Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly!, directed by Gene Kelly (1969), and Alan Jay Lerner's and Burton Lane's On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, directed by Vincente Minnelli (1970). Additionally, she has won two Academy Awards, eight Grammy Awards, one special Tony Award, five Emmy Awards including one Daytime Emmy, an American Film Institute award, a Peabody Award, and is one of the few entertainers who have won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award.

Yet, nothing came close to stinking in last night's Glee - actually, it was one of the most April fresh and Broadway-centric, blissfully entertaining episodes to date, all considered. FUNNY GIRL, too! Plus, BroadwayWorld got lovingly name-checked - again!

Vocal impressionist Veronic DiCaire will resume her residency at Bally's Las Vegas with the launch of "Lend Your Voice," a monthly awareness-building and fundraising effort for selected local nonprofits. Each month, Veronic will partner with a worthy cause and encourage audience donations by providing information on each of their missions during her performances at the Jubilee Theater.

It took Lucie Arnaz her entire professional life to get booked for a solo nightclub/cabaret show at the Cafe Carlyle. It turned out to be worth the wait-for herself and her audiences-and her weeklong run at the stylish club (that began on April 13 and ends with shows tonight at 8:45 and 10:45) would no doubt have made her famous parents--Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz--beam with pride. Artistic Director John McDaniel announced headliners for the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 2014 Cabaret & Performance Conference today. The ten-day Conference begins July 23 with nightly performances. The Grand Finale ends the O'Neill summer season on Saturday evening, August 2.
