BUYER & CELLAR with Michael Urie Coming to Sidney Harman Hall, 6/20-29

The Shakespeare Theatre Company will present a special engagement of Buyer & Cellar. Written by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Stephen Brackett and starring Michael Urie, Buyer & Cellar was heralded by The New York Times as "a seriously funny and remarkably sustained slice of absurdist whimsy." Washington, D.C. marks the second stop of the production's national tour, where it will play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW), from June 20-29, 2014.
Melissa Manchester to Make Cafe Carlyle Debut, 6/10-21

GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester will make her Cafe Carlyle debut in a new show, You Gotta Love The Life, June 10 - June 21. Accompanying herself on piano, she will perform a selection of hits spanning her career, along with several songs from her upcoming album. She will be joined on stage by Stephan Oberhoff (keyboard, guitar) and Susan Holder (vocals, percussion).

After increasing the number of weekly performances and moving to a larger venue in West Hollywood to accommodate significantly larger crowds, "For The Record: Tarantino" has become the hottest ticket in town, driving the series to add a 10-week extension. The show has attracted thousands of people already, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The popular show will also welcome new performers to the already stellar cast including Twilight's Jackson Rathbone, Broadway's Rhett George (Wicked, Memphis) and Nicci Claspell from the National Tour of American Idiot.
Michael Urie's BUYER & CELLAR National Tour Starts Final Three Weeks in Chicago

BUYER & CELLAR, starring the original New York star Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), enters its final three weeks at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut). The first national tour for BUYER & CELLAR launched in Chicago and the six-week engagement will end June 15, 2014 before continuing on its National Tour across North America.

'NCIS: Los Angeles' star and Broadway veteran Barrett Foa will become the newest employee in Barbra's basement shopping mall in New York's longest running comedy Buyer & Cellar, next Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). For the past five seasons, Barrett Foa has co-starred opposite LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell as tech geek Eric Beale on CBS' top-rated hit series 'NCIS: Los Angeles' which is currently the #2 show on television. Buyer & Cellar, now in its second smash year, recouped its initial investment faster than any Off-Broadway show in recent history, is written by Jonathan Tolins and directed by Stephen Brackett.
