HEDWIG National Tour Kicks Off in Darren Criss's Hometown This Sunday

A friendly reminder! Darren Criss and Lena Hall will launch the highly anticipated National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, reprising their critically-acclaimed performances at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco (October 2-30) and the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (November 1-27).

Tony award-winner and star of Broadway's FUN HOME, Michael Cerveris, has penned an article for the New York Times theater section detailing the events of last week's benefit concert of the show in Orlando, Florida.

The Greenhouse Theater Center Presents MOTHER (AND ME)

'Mother (and me)' comes to the Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N. Lincoln Ave.) for a limited engagement, running Aug 4 - 14 as part of the Greenhouse's 'Solo Celebration!' series. Written and performed by Broadway veteran and comedian Melinda Buckley and presented as originally directed by Kimberly Senior. 'Mother (and me)' tells the auto-biographical tale of a larger-than-life Hungarian 'Mama Rose' and her 'Broadway baby' as they experience a shifting dynamic in their relationship. This hilariously honest solo show won the 'Best of Fest' award at the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival, and was originally developed and produced by Barabara Whitman Productions.

FUN HOME Cast Will Travel to Orlando for Special Benefit Concert Performance!

Fun Home, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will play a one-night-only benefit concert performance at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (445 S Magnolia Ave) in Orlando on their night off on Sunday, July 24, its producers announced today. This performance will be a concert version of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical to raise money for Equality Florida and the LGBTQ community of Orlando.

Breaking News: Tony-Winning THE HUMANS Will Move to the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre to Extend Run

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that, on the heels of winning four Tony Awards including Best Play, The Humans will move into Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) to extend its limited run. The Humans will play its first performance in its new home on Tuesday, August 9. It will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Sunday, July 24, and then take a two-week hiatus to allow for the move. As previously announced, the Hayes is set to undergo significant renovations beginning in August.

Breaking News: FUN HOME Will Play Final Performance on Broadway This Fall

Fun Home, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, September 10 at 8 PM, it was announced today. The show, which opened on April 19, 2015, will have played 26 preview and 582 regular performances on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th St) and 114 performances Off Broadway at The Public Theater.

Jane Fonda Will Host Tectonic Theater Project's 25th Anniversary Benefit

Tectonic Theater Project has announced Tectonic At 25!, an anniversary benefit performance celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking theater. The star-studded evening, directed by Tectonic Theater Project founder Moises Kaufman and hosted by two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, will be held on November 7, 2016 at 7pm at NYU Skirball (566 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY 10012). Fox Theatricals Brings Home Tony Award as a Producer of THE HUMANS

St. Louis' own Fox Theatricals received a 2016 Tony® Award as a producer of THE HUMANS, a new Broadway play by Stephan Karam.  THE HUMANS received a total of four 2016 Tony nominations:  Best Play,  Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Reed Birney), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play (Jayne Houdyshell) and Best Scenic Design of a Play (David Zinn).  The show received additional nominations for Best Lighting Design of a Play (Justin Townsend) and Best Direction of a Play (Joe Mantello).
